What to Expect at YEC2021

Speakers Chris Lovell & Eden Morris

​Chris Lovell has been a dad, husband, basketball coach, speaker and many more things but the greatest of them is a follower of Jesus.  Chris has a unique way of engaging students and helping them take another step toward Jesus no matter where they find themselves right now.  
Chris is married to his wife Amanda, they have three kids, Paxton, Bowman & Kerrington. 

Eden Morris is following in the steps of her Father wade Morris who was a regular at our YEC for years.  She is a college student passionate about helping the next generation of youth and college students take their next step in Christ and help them overcome obstacles in their way. She has spoken at youth camps and college events around the country and has helped write curriculum for several different groups.

Worship - Matt Wagner Worship

Matt is an enthusiastic worship leader, who has a heart to see all people worship the one true God in spirit, and in truth. Young people gravitate to God as Matt leads them to fall on their faces before our God. Matt is an artist through and through and people of all ages loves to participate alongside him as he worships. He has lead worship for over 10 years and is still full of fresh ideas. Matt, collaborate with many other worship musicians, and always brings an awesome band

Matt is married, with 3 kids, to his wife Brooke, who works in a hospital administration.

This year we have Our worship will be led by Matt Wagner Worship with a collective of many talented, dedicated and faithful musicians and worship leaders. Matt leads worship with a total abandoned heart toward God and people are joining him in trusting God wholeheartedly. Matt is a creative videographer and photographer and producer of videos and music as well as an incredible worship leader. He is a husband, dad and loves his family as he leads them on all kinds of adventures in the outdoors. He is even known to winter surf from time to time in the Great Lakes.

Special Guest TBAR

Also this year we have added an opening and closing mini concerts by rap artist TBAR (The Blessings Are Real).  TBAR is led by Joe Brown a local Flint pastor who has toured the world rapping about Jesus and His plan for our lives. You will be blessed by his honest transparent brand of music leading young people all around in awe of our great God.

Mission Project

Each year we are blessed to see our students serve Christ via local outreach missions in the greater Flint area.

This year you can expect the same! We will be partnering with local ministries to touch lives of hurting people with the hope of the Gospel as we meet a physical need in their lives at an offsite location.

Students and leaders alike will be serving alongside each other, not only so that others may be helped, but with intentionality that our service will open up windows of opportunity to share the gospel with those to whom we are reaching out.

Recreation

This year our recreation will again be at the Genesys Athletic Center located in Grand Blanc, Michigan.  Running, Basketball, Volleyball, Wally-ball, and much much more will be available for a fun filled time of fellowship.

This will be a great time for students to get to know other students and just kick back and have fun midway through the weekend.
